The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (SoPI), believe in the importance of giving back to and supporting the community that we are a part of. This commitment is motivated by the desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of others and to be good citizens and neighbours within our communities. Gifts for service go directly to community charitable organizations. Festivus partners with  local charitable organizations making a difference to empower and inspire the lives of others.


Sr. Festivus extends her "Sister Calling" to the solemnisation of marriage, fulfilling many ceremonial requests each year.

Elopement Ceremony
Your Wedding ... Your Way

Sr. Festivus appears in full "Sister Drag & Sacred White Face" as the celebrant for this formal ceremony.


This service includes ONLY preparation and performance of your marriage ceremony itself. 


  • Initial Phone Conversation: During this conversation Festivus will listen to your vision for the ceremony and offer some suggestions and ideas to help reduce the stress as together you will create your personal ceremony.

  • First Follow-Up: Face-to-face meeting with Sr. Festivus to further clarify the vision for your ceremony. Should the decision be made to commit to Sr. Festivus as your celebrant, you will complete a formal booking agreement.

  • Completion of the Marriage Application: Your marriage application must be purchased, completed in full and placed in the hands of Sr. Festivus for safe keeping.

  • Second Follow-Up: If desired, an additional face-to-face meeting can be booked to further discuss and refine the ceremonial arrangements.

  • Following Your Ceremony, The official documents will be completed on your behalf and posted to the Office of Vital Statistics Canada at no charge.

Sr. Festivus does NOT appear in "Sacred White Face." for this informal ceremony. Perfect for couples on the go!


This service includes ONLY preparation and performance of your elopement ceremony itself.


  • Initial Phone Consultation: During this phone conversation Festivus will listen to your vision for the elopement ceremony and offer some suggestions and ideas to help reduce the stress as together you will create your personal ceremony.

  • First Follow-Up: A phone phone conversation with Sr. Festivus to clarify your vision for your elopement. Should you confirm your commitment to Sr. Festivus as your celebrant, you will complete a formal booking agreement.

  • Completion of the Marriage Application: Your marriage application must be purchased, completed in full and placed viewed by Sr. Festivus for safe keeping.

  • Second Follow-Up: If desired or necessary to the planning a further phone call can be booked to confirm final elopement arrangements.

  • Following your ceremony, the official documents will be completed on your behalf and posted to the Office of Vital Statistics Canada at no charge.

Sister Festivus is sanctioned to solemnize marriage in
British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec Canada.

Since 2016, Sister Festivus has proudly officiated PRIDE weddings throughout the Greater Vancouver community, with thousands of dollars in service fees lovingly donated to local 2SLGBTQAI+ charities chosen by each couple. With deep gratitude to the community that has made this journey so meaningful, Sister Festivus is delighted to share a new chapter in service: "All wedding officiant services for the 2SLGBTQAI+ community are offered at no charge."  


Sister Festivus proudly presides over ceremonies in full Sister Drag, bringing joy, reverence, and celebration to each unique union. While no fees are charged for officiating services, couples kindly arrange transportation to and from both the rehearsal and wedding venue (taxi or Uber is perfectly suitable).


This offering is a commitment to community, ensuring that every queer couple has the opportunity to celebrate their love and marriage in a manner that is affirming, memorable, and filled with heart.
